A lovely post. I once met a young lady who had multiple disabilities, including issues with fine motor skills, which made it extremely difficult for her to type because she would constantly press keys accidentally. A simple device was devloped for her. It was a sheet of plastic, perhaps plexiglass, that was placed over a regular computer. The plastic sheet had holes for each key on the keyboard, and she would have to insert a finger into the plastic hole to strike a key. That way, she wouldn't accidentally strike a key. It was a bit laborious, but it worked.
